Efficient work over a complete working day can only take place, if the physical well-being is given. Therefore, it is very important to take frequent breaks.
Just five minutes per hour can already provide higher productivity and concentration. Just as relevant as the number of breaks is how you spend them. Even standing up for a short time relieves the muscles and can help prevent posture problems and associated pain. In general, exercising on a regular basis in everyday life helps with your overall, long-term well-being.
Due to long periods of concentration and many tasks, these breaks are often forgotten. With work.out, employees are offered the opportunity to be reminded of these breaks at various intervals. They are given the two options of a free break and an exercise break. This means that coffee breaks, for example, can be quickly and easily tracked as free breaks. During movement breaks, instructions and inspiration for various exercises are provided so that one can start moving directly. This enables the user to remain productive and active at the same time throughout the entire working day.
Different break intervals prevent fixed break times and thus waiting for the next break,
which ensures continuous concentration for the user.
The length of the break also varies from break to break to provide variety.
work.out also addresses the personal needs of the user. In the settings, users can specify which exercises they personally prefer and which they cannot or do not want to do.
Exercises can be sorted by difficulty level as well as different body regions to make it easier for the user to select and favour certain exercises.
In another menu section, users are also given the opportunity to view their personal statistics. Furthermore, they can optionally compare themselves with colleagues within the office or with other companies and offices. In addition to promoting tolerance for exercises in the office, this is also intended to motivate employees through small challenges.
